Monday, Monday.

So hard to come back to reality today. 5:20 came way too early!! I got used to sleeping til 7:30 & waking up and not having to rush out if the house!! We spent alot of time in our pj's hangin around the house. Owen had his 6 month check up today- poor baby has 2 ear infections again!! I know he is miserable. Breaks my heart. The dr said we could go ahead & start working on tubes so I'm super excited about that!
We introduced Hannah to her Elf this weekend. We did a scavenger hunt to find him which was alot of fun. And she named him- Joey! We have no clue where that came from but Joey it is! She really likes her Elf- so much that he had to go with us to school today. Whatever keeps her happy!!

Reading to Joey!

Jeremy is having the most fun finding new spots for him each day!

I got to have a dinner date with my two favorite men on Friday. Hannah spent the night at my parents house so we had a nice little date!

Putting up the Christmas tree! We are ready to celebrate! Total mom fail- hannah found a pile of Christmas presents. So needless to sat- they are no longer Christmas presents. Need to find better hiding spots :)

Little late!

Im a little late on Owen's 6 month pictures- shock! We go on Monday for his 6 month appt but since he was sick right before he turned 6 months we know he was around 18 pounds. I remember Hannah at 6 months, 20 pounds and SO rolly! He is definitely not as chubby as she was but he is still a solid boy! Here are some 6 month pics I took- Im so glad he is sitting up :) Have I said that before?

Thankful, everyday.

I'm so thankful for all we have been blessed with. Not just on Thanksgiving, but everyday. I do love Thanksgiving because we get to celebrate our thankfulness with family but I'm so thankful every single day. Having kids really puts alot in to perspective & I'm just thankful I have two happy & healthy children. Sometimes things in this world can just be so sad & heartbreaking & we never know what is our future. So today- be thankful for your family, health, job, shelter & food. There are so many people who have no idea what they might eat next. That breaks my heart. I don't ever want to take the little things for granted.
Our Thanksgiving was so nice. It was a beautiful day!! We took a family walk, hung out in our pj's all morning then headed to my moms. We had family in from California so it was great to spend time with them. The food & company were great!! We did not make it out into the Black Friday madness- however there was a Barbie jeep for hannah that was tempting me!!

My precious little Turkeys!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thankful for a short week!

It is a short week and I am SO glad about that! Today is my last day then I am off for the rest of the week. SO excited about quality family time and lots of awesome food. Not to forget ALL the amazing blessings in our life and how much we have to be thankful for. I never want to take any of it for granted and really try not to.
Im really getting into the holiday spirit! Im ready to Christmas shop and get decorations up! I am so excited to watch Hannah during the holidays this year. I have a feeling she is still going to be a little scared of Santa but that's to be expected. She is my cautious, little observer. But once she is comfortable, WATCH OUT! :)
What has been going on lately- we are still doing well with potty training...we have our moments but overall Im so proud of her. Sometimes she hops right on and other times it takes a bit of convincing. She's only in it for the skittles :) One funny story- last night she STOOD over her potty and told me she was going to potty like Liam and James. OH MY! Jeremy says, they need to close the bathroom door at daycare, lol! That girl keeps us laughing thats for sure!
Owen, my sweet boy is just that. Sweet as ever. He is sitting up so well and really hates laying down for any reason other than sleeping. He loves sitting up to play and isnt too fond of the bouncy seat anymore. He has things to see! He is still so smiley and sweet but still waking once in the middle of the night. Last night he made it until 4 am so that was nice. Better than 1 am!
Im so looking forward to a nice 5 day break and celebrating with our loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Getting to know eachother better!

First bath together- Im sure there will be many more! Of course, Hannah thought she was helping by pouring water all over his head!

Told you she loves to cuddle him!!

My new fav thing to make- Hannahs skirts! So easy & so many awesome fabrics to choose from!!

6 sweet months

Seriously, where does the time go? 6 months have just flown past us. I feel like just yesterday we were wondering if he was a boy or girl then preparing for his arrival. Our hearts are so full and this sweet little boy literally takes my breath away sometimes. He's beyond sweet, calm, loveable, and so cuddly. Im so enjoying watching his personality develop. He's playful at times but reserved almost always. He takes it all in but will laugh and smile once you get him going. He's growing and learning and gets more fun every day! He is sitting up all by himself! yay! That is one of my favorite things about 6 months. You can just sit them up, put a whole bunch of toys in front of them and they are usually pretty happy. He LOVES his sister. He literally lights up when interacts with him. She's been reading to him alot lately and is SO good with him. She really is. I didnt realize when having two that one of my most favorite parts would be watching the two of them bond. Its been really great. Every morning we have the same routine- I have to put Owen in Hannah's bed with her. She rolls over- still tired, and puts her arm around him. I think its one of her favorite things too. Then I get her dressed and we move from the bed to the chair. She reads to him and sits as close as possible. The other morning in the car she said, Owen hold my hand. My heart melted. I LOVE picking them both up each day to get my hands on them. We've been so completely blessed with two of the sweetest children. And we are so thankful for that. Happy 6 months you sweet, sweet little boy. Here's to so many more months of growing, playing, cooing, smiling and laughing! Ive always said his smile literally glows and brightens up a room. They call him Mr. Smiley in the nursery :)

He loves sitting up in the bath now and I love it too. 6 months is one of my favorite ages. I LOVE when they sit up. So many new things to explore!
