Playground pics :)

We are having a GREAT time at home and I was getting a post ready with what we've been doing but I got some pics of the kids at the playground yesterday and just had to post them. The weather has been amazing and we are REALLY enjoying getting to play outside so much without dying of heatstroke ha ha. I just want to freeze these ages. I never want them getting much older. Owen is two, BUT he melts my heart every single day. They things he is saying, putting words together, he is sweet as ever and LOVES to give "love" and kisses. I just want to bottle up his sweeteness :) Hannah is SO grown up and she is just a little girl now, not a toddler. She is helpful, loving, hilarious and just LOVES to play. Girl could play for 24 hours straight and never crash. She loves t-ball, obsessed with bugs and nature, and loves to help with any job she is given. She has been my moms sidekick :)

Love watching them laugh and play...makes all the hard moments worth it!

Headed home!

I sit here in the McDonalds play place to do a little "work"...this is our new summer normal. Its just plain HOT out and the kids can eat and play and wear themselves out...win win!

A quick recap before we head HOME! We could not be more ready. We need to see our people!

So last week was a doozie....Monday we were talked into letting Maddy (next door) spend the night. This was Hannah's second sleep over, but first sleep over at our house. They did pretty good, I think Hannah was a party animal and couldve stayed up all night if I had not slept in between them and turned the lights off :)

So jump to Tuesday and I had dinner with some MOPS girls and when I got home it was late so I just jumped into bed with Hannah. Jeremy gets up at 3 am and it usually wakes me so I sleep with Hannah alot :) Well an hour after I get home...I hear that dreaded sound and the next thing I know, she is throwing up everywhere. That poor baby girl. I felt SO bad for her. So for the next 7 hours she literally is sick on the hour. So lots of laundry and a sleepless night later....at 6:30 in the morning I here Jeremy come in. He has it too. I am so queasy...assuming it was from cleaning up the mess but Ive got the bug too. It was BRUTAL. Like took 3-4 days to recover from. And crazy enough, tiny tornado Owen never got it. Thankfully! But it was really hard watching Owen while we were all sick and just wanted to rest. I said it was like watching 8 toddlers while having a hangover. But we're better.
Keeping up with Superbaby was tough!

So after the bug cleared, I realized I left my debit card at the restaurant I went to and we needed to go pick that up. THANKFULLY they had it. Jeremy gets so frustrated, I leave it everywhere. Well as we were leaving...our garage door went nuts. Im talking off the track, broken glass from the windows, mangled door panels. At that point, Im not going to lie, Im glad we are renters lol

We had them come out yesterday to fix it (Thankfully it wasnt too expensive of a fix) and while he was there our washing machine (from washing stomach bug laundry) went crazy and broke the fabric dispenser piece into pieces. I said, GET ME OUT OF LAS VEGAS! ha. Really though, I need to get out of here!

Saturday night was Hannah's last game. It was cute. They got trophys and we had a little pizza party with everyone. We will definitely be keeping her in T-ball!

Fro-yo for the last game of the season!

 Her professional pics :)

Owen was impossible to keep off the field. He'll be playing as soon as we can get him into something!

We found "pink box" donuts close to our house...fun little Sunday morning treat!

Now we are all packed and ready for the flight home!! Wish me luck!!

4th of July Road Trip!

I was SO ready to get out of Vegas it wasnt even funny. We haven't been anywhere since April and I need to leave this place every so often, ha ha. Not to mention it is HOT here. Just hot. Its like our "winter". We dont really go outside as much right now. Which we all know is not easy with kids! So we decided to spend 4th of July with our Cali family and just relax and meet baby Duke!

We left Thursday as soon as Jeremy got home, so glad he was able to go with us. He works so hard, he deserves a break too! We got there Thursday around 5 and just relaxed and enjoyed the food, company and loved on one sweet little baby boy :) The kids LOVED him. I knew Hannah would love him. She is at that age where she loves real babies and wants to hold and feed them but I didnt know what Owen would do. I figured he wouldnt really even notice the baby but he wanted to hold him just as much as Hannah. He would put his arms up and say, hold, hold and then he would just pet him. It was adorable. Im so glad he was gentle for the most part :)

Friday for 4th of July we had a fun day planned! Gotta keep the kids busy! That morning we went to a little 4th of July festival at a near by park. It was a neat set up, just extremely hot! But we had a great time.
Snow cones, crafts and face painting!

She really is so sweet to him :)

They chose to just get their hands painted. Kelly always takes one for the team and does what Hannah wants :) And then Owen wants to do everything Hannah does, so he got his hand painted too :)

After that we headed back to cool off and swim some. Owen is fearless! He would just swim around with his little puddle-jumper on, no fear! Hannah was cautious but by the time we left she was swimming really well by herself with her jacket on. She will do awesome at swim lessons I hope!

We had a 4th of July cookout that night and then went to a friends house for some fireworks. The kids were very excited for "sprinklers" and Owen managed not to burn himself or anyone else :)

Saturday we headed down to Newport beach and found a neat little beach. It was great until the tide came up so high we literally got flooded! And not once but twice! I think that was our sign to go home! Owen wasnt as into it as Hannah but they both did really good!

Saturday morning donut day! Its a tradition!

We had an awesome time. A perfect break. We have a couple more trips planned out there this year and we cant wait to watch Duke grow! Soon he'll be running around just like my crazy kids!!
