Baby #3 update!

The baby with no name, no room, no diapers, hand me down clothes, we promise we love you baby #3! We are behind as ever with this little guy and with Jeremy in the middle of overseeding, we might be stopping for diapers, and burp cloths on the way home from the hospital! Kind of kidding, we have alot to do though! I think the fatigue has taken over (or maybe never left) and I haven't gotten that nesting bug that you are supposed to get. So sadly I don't even have alot of motivation. BUT....seeing this ADORABLE face in 3d and hearing Hannah talk about the baby just makes me so excited. She cannot wait. And as I get bigger by the minute, I think it makes her more excited. She loves feeling him kick. The kids both kiss him every night and say goodnight, and as funny as it seems, Owen believes that if I open my mouth and he talks into my mouth that the baby can hear him. So you can find me at night with my mouth open and Owen telling the baby things right in my face. It will be no surprise if I get sick!

I swore I would do more updates, but ya know, life. I am feeling ok. I think I had about 10 good weeks. The heat never really made me miserable until here recently. I am feeling so big, I have no clue how I can go 6 more weeks. I have about 4 shirts that work, I am so itchy in the heat, my body hurts, I dont feel like I get enough sleep, etc etc. I hate to complain, I really do. I am SO beyond thankful for this guy, just dealing with the normal aches and pains :)

I bought a groupon for a 3d/4d ultrasound that I planned to get done right before we flew home for the summer but this little stinker would not turn his head around. Thankfully they agreed to do a re-scan for me, I was SO glad.

I have lost track of pictures but try to take them weekly. Here are weeks 15, 17, and 18. I remember thinking then how I wished I "looked" a little more pregnant so people didnt just wonder and here I am, nice and big and pregnant wishing I was smaller. Funny how that happens! I was still so sick in this weeks. I felt back to normal around 22 weeks I think. Pregnancy is so hard for me.

 19 weeks here!
 22 weeks here!
This was the first 3d pic we got. You can barely make it out. Im actually kind of glad we couldnt see him because he gained more weight and we got to see a chubbier guy!
 26 weeks!
29 weeks, about to head home from the beach.
We went back to the dr on August 1st for a second ultrasound to make sure my placenta had moved up. It had, no worries, I was just glad we got a great lady who flipped it over to 3d for us. I mean, look at that FACE! Oh I fell in love. I think he looks like Owen here. She measured him too and he was measuring 3 pds 11 oz and about 11 days ahead! Whew. Im sure another big one. No clue what a tiny baby is like!

These are the pictures we got at the re-scan, we got so many of them. Its amazing how detailed this is!

 Those LIPS!

30 weeks! Can you see H carrying her baby :)) We cannot wait, but then again need some more time to get his little life together ha ha! I will get another ultrasound to check his weight...these big Adkins babies!!

Best Summer Ever, continued!

Friday was Hannah's last day at zoo camp so we went a little early and enjoyed the evening at the zoo! Lindsay came in town and we had such a fun time! The kids are so into animals, I loved watching them watch the animals. The first stop for Owen was the ropes course. He was SO excited to do it. Hannah was too tall for the little course and she wasn't too thrilled to do the big course so she let Owen have this one :) He was SO cute and kept talking about how he wanted to go back and do it again!

The orangutan was awesome. He got so close to the kids.
And then Hannah was able to check "camel ride" off her bucket list ;) She was so excited to do this. I mean for $6 how can you say no?!

The gorillas were great!

Hannah thought it was awesome to take a selfie with her!
We were there for 4 hours I think, it was a great time! Saturday morning I took the kids to meet Jeremy's mom so they could spend time in Owensboro, Im so glad they get to do that when we come in town. There is NEVER enough time to spend with everyone but we were pretty lucky we had more time than usual this summer. The kids had a blast. My nature girl was picking up (AND kissing!) Frogs at Camp Wawa's! They swam and played with their cousins, and swam some more! I swear this was an animal summer, my girl came out of her shell and just showed us how much she loves animals. She is definitely braver than me!

I had almost 5 days to myself and I didnt quite know what to do with myself! It was so nice to go to bed when I wanted :) I met up with several friends and had lunches and dinners and just relaxed, it was wonderful!

The kids came back on Wednesday and just like us, we are crazy and love a good road trip. So Thursday we drove to Linsday's to see her house and make a visit to the aquarium. It was a great trip!
Owen was the security manager at Matt's law office. He loved watching the screen to make sure no one was coming ha ha
The aquarium was fun, the kids loved it.

She loves posing for pictures these days!

The kids loved being at Lindsay's and playing with the dogs, we knew we'd see her at the beach though!

This is basically what I was squeezed in bed with most nights...in a full bed and this growing belly. It was a sight!
After we got back from Lindsay's, the Northern KY area we decided to head out for ANOTHER road trip! This is definitely the most time we've ever spent in a car! We headed to Lexington and got to have a super fun sleepover with Elise! The kids LOVE the dogs and would play with them all day. We had so much fun catching up, grabbed dinner and of course ice cream! It was wonderful! That was our last car trip until 10 hours in the car to the beach!!

That Sunday we got home we had planned to have my friend Jennifer bring Ruby over. The kids were SO excited to see her. I was too, she is such a beautiful dog, we miss her alot. I am SO thankful she is with a friend I love so much and takes care of her better than anyone! Talk about a spoiled dog!

She is SUCH an animal lover. She kept telling my mom all she wants for her 7th birthday is a dog. That won't be happening, but I am thinking we are in the clear because after watching the olympics she told me all she wanted for her birthday was uneven bars ha ha

This boy CRASHED hard one night. Just one night lol I say that because when the sun doesnt go down until 10, it was so hard to get them to bed early!
On Monday we made a very fun spontaneous stop by a local farm to pick flowers. And of course, there were chickens, sheep, donkeys, horses and cows. Told you, a SUPER animal summer! Then we stopped by to see my friend Courtney, we miss them alot and know how fun it would be to watch the boys grow up together. Cruz is one of the cutest kids Ive ever seen!
Tuesday started camp number 2 for Hannah, she was SO excited for horse camp. This is definitely her thing. I think if we could find a great program for her to get into, she would drop everything to work with horses. I love seeing her so confident around those big animals.

They got to ride two times a day, and brush, feed, wash, and clean the stables of the horses. Right up her ally!
This was her horse "Little Bit"

On the last day, I got talked into "adopting" a turtle for the night. The owner would have given us thing thing for 4 nights but thankfully we were leaving for the beach ha ha So we took him home for one night. That was enough for me. I think this might of been a highlight of her summer. She was ECSTATIC.

We reunited Hannah and Emma for a pool night, it fun to see them swim together. It's hard to believe it's usually been a year that goes by seeing our friends but thankfully we pick up right where we leave off!

We exercised the turtle in the yard ha ha and then took him back as soon as we could :)
Friday was filled with errands, packing and cleaning, it was BEACH TIME!!

Wrapping up our time in Louisville was hard. I know it's humid, I know it gets hot, but I'll take that humidity any day to be home. Vegas can feel extremely lonely, and thankfully in the past year we've gained some pretty close friends but for some reason it's just a lonely place. It's probably good I have two kids who DO NOT STOP and keep us pretty busy. Im approaching this year with a new outlook. Instead of hoping everyday for Jeremy to call me and tell me he has a job offer in South Carolina (ha ha) I'm working hard to be content in where we are now. It's not always easy, but Im surrounded by some pretty great people, we can get through it!
