Happy Happy Tuesday!

Sitting here on a Tuesday morning in Lexington for work. Luckily I'm at a gorgeous farm here in Paris- they are owners of the Breeder Cup winner Blame- oh and the famous Secretariat is buried here. Its a beautiful place- I do enjoy coming out here. But I am missing this face!! How sweet is she :)

Jeremy texted me yesterday and it read, " Hannah had to sit in time out today because she kept telling her teacher no!" WOW! talk about a little spitfire! We have our hands full! Of course over Thanksgiving we did tell her to yell, "No lindsay!" which comes out, "no yin sey!" it's so darn cute but maybe we should stop :)
We had so much fun spending 5 days with my family. Thanksgiving was extra special this year since we had my grandparents from California here. At 94 & 88 we are SO thankful we get to spend these holidays with them. We ate & laughed & just hung out enjoying everyones company. I loved the extra time off with Hannah- but I think she was missing her friends :) she is definitely the child who LOVES school! I love watching her learn. My little smarty pants!
We went to the dr yesterday for our 15 week appt. Dr went to listen for the heartbeat & couldn't get a good read on it. I didn't hear it at all- imagine my worry. So we got an ultrasound & everything looked great. He said the baby was moving so much he couldn't hear it for a straight 20 seconds. Just a precaution he said. I was relieved. We scheduled our big ultrasound & it will be Dec 19th. We are doing something really fun to reveal the gender so I'll have pictures to post then :) I'm feeling a little better at night- but can't shake this fatigue- I guess when you are pregnant with a toddler running around there isn't much time for rest! We are just thankful for another blessing- I can't wait to snuggle another one!
Hopefully ill have time to post some pictures from thanksgiving but here are a couple of Hannah from that day- she looked SO darn cute- I could have just eaten her up!!!!

She loves sweeping!! My dad bought her a tiny broom but she still prefers the big one!

Happy Tuesday! Hope this work week flies by!! I'm already ready for a fun weekend ahead!

22 months & 14 weeks!

I totally missed Hannah's 22 month post! Things have been kinda crazy lately- so between editing pictures and trying to stay up past 7, I am not getting much done these days!!
Hannah was officially 22 months on Sunday! She is acting very grown up these days and likes to do things herself. She can be very independent at times but then on a RARE occasion she might just jump up in your lap and sit still for a very short amount of time :) So I guess I dont need to say how BUSY she is and always ready to play! This girl LOVES a good game. A game of anything- she likes to be chased, she loves funny noises, she LOVES singing and dancing & loves spinning around. She could spin and spin and spin! She's got a wild little, spunky personality which keeps us on our toes! She is talking so much and loves to have little conversations with herself. Its SO fun to listen to. I could listen to her read a book for hours. That sweet little voice absolutely melts my heart. She is putting words together- most of which is "Hi, ma ma" or "No, ma ma". Still the cutest thing Ive ever heard. She now knows the different between please and thank you- which mostly comes out like, "take do". I love that too. It makes all the sleepless nights (yes- those are still happening) worth it. No matter what her night is like she is the sweetest thing in the morning. She tells me she loves me and gives me a BIG kiss every morning. Best. Thing. Ever.
Happy 22 months Hannah! We cannot believe you were born almost two years ago- I still remember every detail of that day- well all 30 hours :)

Baby #2 has finally reached the 2nd Trimester! Hopefully the sickness will start wearing off sometime soon. Ive started staying up to 8:30 and eating a very small dinner. But we are getting there! I look back at how fast my pregnancy with Hannah went and I dont want to wish it away but we all just want to make sure we make it to a happy and healthy 40 weeks. Im glad to say Im still able to button my pants...ha ha! But I have a feeling maternity clothes are just around the corner. I was so sick with Hannah that I lost weight with her and didnt even show until 20+ weeks. This will not be the same :) But I welcome stretchy waistband pants :) Especially during the holidays! We are very excited to get to the end of December and find out what this little one is! Im convinced its a boy but Id love to know what you think!!

Lucky #13

Im SO hoping week 13 brings me some luck and I might be able to get over this sickness. I was sick with Hannah until week 16 so Im hoping maybe this will end a little sooner. I spend most of my days trying to eat whatever I can for lunch because I know that once dinner time hits, Im pretty much down for the count. Its amazing how I can feel pretty good in the morning and by the time I get home, I am just exhausted and so sick I cant even stomach dinner. But all worth it in the end :) I definitely dont mean to complain...this too shall pass! My mom says the only man who could ever understand is a man who has been through chemo. My dad has and even he said the nauseau wasnt so bad for him! Guess they will NEVER really know :)
Ive been so sick lately and just so blah by the time I get home from work that I havent had any time to think of Christmas. I did get some Christmas ideas today for Hannie...of course she is the easy one! I know everyone knows my LOVE of Christmas so I cannot wait to feel back to myself and start really enjoying the holidays.

Hannah has been a handful lately...we are dealing with no sleep and a 22 month old who thinks she is already TWO! I told her to give me a couple more months before all the sassiness of two starts. Whew!! No is her new favorite word. Of course, when she says "No, ma ma" It does sound SO adorable but I also dont want it to become habit. Her vocabulary is getting very large these days and its SO funny to listen to her talk. I love it. She has alot of conversations with herself and talks alot of gibberish but its so darn cute. Most of the time it involves the puppy. That girl LOVES puppies. Despite the no sleep and almost two year old attitude that girl keeps us laughing. She is SO sweet in the morning. There is nothing I love more than hearing, "wuv you" from my little girls mouth.

That was a bunch of totally random things. Im all over the place these days. Most days Im just hoping I can get one thing done when I get home. Im so thankful to my mom and Jeremy for all their help lately- I know its not easy!

I have to leave you with this picture I found the other day. Seriously!!!!!! OMG! I cant believe her hair and her legs! I absolutely LOVED this trip to the beach. Im hoping we can go back this summer when Im on maternity leave! Hannah will love it and the new baby will just relax in the sand :)

and one more...makes four!

Hannah is so excited to announce she will be a BIG sister in May!!

And we are SO excited to share the news! Alot of things have happened over the past 2 months that have really shown me how incredible Gods timing is. Between selling the house, being at my parents house at the right time, some things at work- its just amazing how he knows exactly how everything should fall into place. Im almost 13 weeks and due May 22nd. I am very excited about taking the summer off and spending time with our new little one!! I cannot wait to have a new little baby around. Im not exactly sure how Hannah will handle the change- right now we ask her if she wants a little brother and she says no. We ask her if she wants a little sister and she says no. At least she is consistent, she's never said yes :) But she is in a phase where she LOVES her babydolls. She walks around holding them and rocking them to sleep (or throwing them on the floor and throwing a blanket over their head to put them to sleep! Ha ha!) So maybe she will LOVE being a big sister! I think she will be great!! We loved sharing the news with her!

Everything looks great and we will get to find out what we are having in December. Im convinced its a boy!! But we will see!
Ive have been so sick these last 8 weeks and trying to handle a full time job, an almost 2 year old, packing and moving to the best of my ability but I could not have done it without all the help from all the wonderful friends and family in our lives. It has been SO awesome to be at my parents house these last couple of weeks. I have more help than I could imagine. Thankfully Im not as sick as I was with Hannah but every day I still wake up nauseous and beyond exhausted. 7:30 has become my new bedtime. But Ill get through it and Ill be ready to enjoy everything about the holidays! Im SO ready to get my appetite back to enjoy wonderful fall foods. We are so excited about this new addition to our family. I cant even imagine what like will be like with TWO!!
