Quack!

We had so much fun dressing Hannah up and taking her around in the wagon. We actually didnt even go to any doors and get candy but we had fun seeing all the other kids and enjoying such a beautiful night in such a great neighborhood. (Yes- if I could I would be those people who live in the same neighborhood as my parents). Ive always loved where they live and where I grew up. Hannah ate crackers the entire way around & enjoyed being pulled in the wagon. I have just a few (ha ha!) pictures of our sweet little duck. We put the costume on and boy was it tight! I wasnt sure we'd make it 10 minutes in this thing! But she did so great and even kept the hood on!

crackers were about the only thing that kept her still!

I loved her little duck bum!
she looks so big!!

Class Party!

Hannah has her first Halloween Class Party today- its crazy to think that this time last year she was only 9 months old! That little bitty girl has grown into a not so little girl with BIG personality :)
I caught the cutest picture of her this morning in her pumpkin party shirt! She was so proud!
I keep forgetting Monday is really Halloween so we will have to come up with something else for Monday! Then we will see how long she makes it trick or treating!

an anniversary, a closing and 21 months!

Yesterday was a big day for us! I totally meant to write this yesterday but crashed instead!
Yesterday we closed on our house. Its so bittersweet. I couldnt WAIT to sell it and not have to drive back roads every day and I cant wait to find a house with alot more space but it was also a little emotional to say goodbye. That was the first house we bought as newlyweds. Not only was it our first home together but we had it built so we got to help design it. I remember driving there almost every single day to see the progress they made on it. I have an entire album of our house from slab to finish! Im so glad I have those memories. It was the place we brought our daughter home and raised her for almost 2 years. We have alot of great memories there and we will really miss the cul-de-sac and neighbors. But like all things- its time to move on and find our next LONG term home, because to be honest- moving STINKS! We had alot of help but its still not fun to move! The closing yesterday went very fast and smooth. We are all moved in with my parents and ready to take a short break from home ownership :) As I took a wonderful soak in my parents huge jacuzzi tub last night, I realized I may never leave :) Its nice to be there for a little while. The extra help is amazing!

Last photo of our first house!

Hannie helping with the move! This girl will sweep all day!

We got out of our closing alot quicker than we thought and headed to a quiet dinner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. I cant believe its been 4 years. They have gone by fast but we have so many awesome memories. This time 4 years ago we were getting ready to leave for Jamaica! I wish I could say we were doing that this year! Maybe for our 5 year anniversary. It was an awesome trip and I just love each year even more. Every year brings something new and exciting and Im already looking forward to next year :)

Hannah also turned 21 months yesterday. Talk about FAST! That girl is the funniest child Ive ever met. I know, Im biased. But she just keeps us laughing. And she is so darn sweet and beautiful. Its music to my ears when I tell her I love her and she says, "wuv u" back. It makes all the long nights, tears and hard work worth it. Im so thankful for her and my hubby for being the best dad to her. I couldnt ask for a better husband or father to our daughter. He's amazing.

Onto the weekend. The week after vacation is by far the LONGEST week ever. Im so glad its Friday! We are going to Hubers tomorrow and relaxing on Sunday! We need to get my parents house in order- there are suitcases everywhere! Im ready to settle in to a new routine- moving was rough!

I hope everyone has a great weekend- Im really hoping we havent lost our fall weather!!

A California Wedding with Southern Flair!

We just got back from a FABULOUS week in California. I'll have a much longer post about our trip and closing on our house by NEXT WEEK! (Insert- mild panic attack!) But I had to share this link. Megan is like a sister to me and I could not have been more honored to be a part of her big day. It was one the most beautiful weddings Ive ever seen. Here in KY we don't go to a lot of outdoor weddings. You never know what the weather will do. So we just don't take the chance. But in Southern California you can pretty much always guarantee its going to be 75 and sunny and it was!!
Let me preface the pictures by saying Megan and Brock got engaged here at Churchill Downs. So Megan wanted her wedding to follow suit with Southern Flair. The wedding was at an Equestrian Center which could not have been more perfect. They got married outside under gorgeous trees followed by a reception in the middle of horse stables. AMAZING!!! The pictures will speak for themselves but they thought of every last detail. Her colors were amazing, her dress was simply beautiful and the day was filled with so much fun and love!! CONGRATS Megan and Brock- we love you guys!

Here is just a sneak peek that the photographer was so kind to post right after the wedding!

*Side note: Hannah MADE IT down the aisle!! I cant wait to see pictures of her walking down the aisle :)

Not the best at blogging lately

I havent been a very good blogger lately, and I havent been a very good picture taker either! I hate that. But things are a little crazy right now. We have ALOT going on! This is going to be a crazy year for us. But I cant wait!!
We officially have a POD in our driveway. Jeremy has been loading it up and trying to pack in as much stuff as we possibly can so we dont have to get like 3 PODS. I think we will definitely have to get 2 for sure. My mom and dad are so nice to let us stay at Hotel Kingsbury until we find the perfect house for our little family. We have looked at 2, not what we were looking for but it was fun to look. Im excited to stay with them- Im sure my mom is even more excited to have people to cook for! And 24/7 Hannah time! 24/7 Ruby time might be a different story :) She comes too!! Our inspection came back absolutely perfect- they didnt ask us to fix a thing. I never imagined that!! But was so glad to get that word. Now I feel like we can officially start the moving process.

Hannah has been her wild little self lately! Keeping us so busy and entertained. She is sleeping awesome again- 7 to 7. She can have such a sassy attitude one minute but then lean in and give you the juiciest, sweetest kiss you've ever had in your life. I love her kisses. I make her kiss me like 15 times a day. She is totally over it! She is growing up right before our eyes. I dont even know where the time has gone. That girl makes my heart smile everyday.

My dad taught Hannah how to do "Go Blue" for Michigan- it's pretty cute!

Jeremy taught Hannah how to wink & it's hilarious. She closes both eyes & blinks really hard. Too funny!

Jeremy's birthday was Friday- we got pretty crazy & had dinner out then headed home. His big present came a couple weeks earlier- Hannah & I secretly got him a new set of golf clubs. He was very happy with our taste :) happy 31st babe! I couldn't do it without you!!!
