I dont ever want to forget...

I meant to post these pictures of Hannah from her first Easter which was when she was 10 weeks old. I just cant believe how tiny she looks. I remember when she was 10 weeks old and I didn't want to ever forget how tiny her hands were, how little those feet were, and how sweet her sounds were. Now she is bigger, not so tiny and makes even funnier sounds...but I never want to forget how she is today. Because tomorrow she will be bigger, learn a new sound and grow a little taller. If only I could keep her this small forever. I just don't ever want to forget.

Easter weekend

We had such a nice weekend- never long enough but we got to see all of our family so that was great!
Saturday we headed down to Owensboro to celebrate Jeremy's sisters wedding shower. Kim and Daren are getting married in May and we can't wait! it was so nice to visit but we didn't get to stay too long because we had to head back early to beat the huge storms that were moving in.

The happy couple!

Jeremy's course practically flooded so he had to get up early Easter morning and go to work :( We waited to give Hannah her Easter basket until he got home. She loved it! I should have just given her a basket full of plastic eggs because she spent forever opening and closing them. Then Jeremy filled them with yogurt melts and that kept her busy for a while longer :)
I loved shopping for her Easter basket- it felt like Christmas again. HA! Maybe I filled it with shoes and clothes because she cant eat candy yet? Nevertheless it was an excuse to buy her all kinds of things. I cant ever resist buying her stuff- I just love it! I do have a shopping problem for her! But I have two good excuses- what if she is my only girl? I have to spoil her rotten with pink! And two- if we have more girls then we will have plenty of hand-me-downs :)
Sunday we headed to my parents house for a big Easter dinner- my mom sure knows how to prepare a feast for us- especially when we are all in town celebrating something. There were 11 of us and we had SOOO much fun! We LOVED having Grammy and Bumpah over for their first holiday as KY residents! Its just such a great feeling knowing they are right down the street. Grammy was so worried we wouldn't be able to get Bumpahs wheelchair up two steps into the kitchen but my dad and Jeremy made a ramp that worked perfectly! That just means we have an easier way to get them over for all of the fun little get-togethers we have! Hannah was spoiled with all kinds of Easter gifts- my mom even wrapped all her gifts to Hannah- so it really was like Christmas :)
I tried to get some Easter pictures of her but she wasnt having it! We may just have to dress her up another day....maybe one that isnt so rainy?

More interested in the plastic eggs!

someone got a tent! and loves it!

No naps on Easter make a baby tired!

my mom put these at our place settings- that was me- Easter 1985
The famous Bunny Cake my Grammy always made- Lindsay requested it for this year so she made it!

Happy Easter to all!

thursday randoms

this post will be all over the place! I have random pictures from the week and a hilarious daycare story! (Have I ever told you that we have our hands full?? You'll see!)

We had Hannah's 15 month check up yesterday- she is a whopping 26 pounds! But overall it went great! She did get a finger prick yesterday to check her iron levels and she didnt even flinch! Of course- I guess with all that she has been through this year that was probably nothing! The band aid on her finger bothered her more (probably because it was so bulky she couldnt hold onto her snack!). She got one shot too and let me know for 15 minutes how mad she was about it. I got the message :)

Yes she was trying to put her foot in her mouth! No CLUE where she gets this stuff!

random picture from the week- she had my keys and my glasses on- she was ready to go! And Im not sure if you all have ever watched the "Drew Carey Show" but my dad said when Hannah wears those pj's she looks like Mimi- and looking at this picture again- yes she does! HA!

enjoying so beautiful weather this week! I cant wait for summer and more dependable weather! We have 40 degree temps one day and 80 degrees and tornados the next!!

I have to brag on my precious little brother- this isnt a very good picture but he is the president of his fraternity and they won some award- he just looks so handsome and TOO grown up!!

Hannah LOVES sharing her books with Ruby- and Ruby is not so interested. They are getting along so well. As crazy as Ruby can drive me sometimes they really do get along. And besides Hannah feeding most of her dinner to Ruby every night they are a pretty cute pair!
We have been coloring alot lately- I have to keep an eye on her though because she LOVES to put the crayons in her mouth. Probably just because I say not to!

Ok- so I pick her up yesterday and as soon as she sees me she practically knocks kids out her way to get to me. So we are chatting with the girls in her room and Liam walks up behind her. So we were just talking about how cute he is and how funny the two of them are and her teacher says- oh I have two Hannah stories. Im like UH OH! She says, "Today Hannah hit Liam and then leaned in and Kissed him on the mouth!"
WHAT!!!!! Maybe he was talking to another girl?? HA HA!
Then she says that Hannah and Liam were in the play house together and she could see them both through the doorway of the little house and they both leaned in and kissed each other!!! I can not even believe that she is already kissing boys! For one thing- now I know how she catches all that nasty daycare sickness and two- we are going to have to stop asking her for kisses!! I guess she thinks everyone loves her kisses as much as we do :)

15 months old and kissing boys! YIKES!!

Thankfully, its ALMOST FRIDAY!

{almost} 15 months!

15 months tomorrow and I cant even believe it! Some days I still cant even believe Im a mom. Then I cant even believe we have a toddler! Where does the time go. I wish the weekends went as slow as 8-4:30 does during the week! Nevertheless- she is 15 months old and the best part of our lives. She is the spunkiest little girl Ive ever seen- we just never know what is next with her!!

Right now we are working on many things with her- I LOVE watching her learn something new. She LOVES Ring around the Rosey and when you say "we all fall down" she bends over and stands on her head :) She loves patty cake and still loves Itsy Bitsy Spider.

We love to have her tell Ruby "Shhh"! Whenever Ruby barks we say, "What do we tell Ruby?" and she puts her little finger to her mouth and says, "Shhh"....(maybe she hears that from the teachers at daycare?!?" HA!

She still loves her sleep. She heads to bed about 6:30 or 7 and still wakes up around 6:45 when I have to get her up. I HATE waking her up. She pulls her bunny close to her face (probably thinking if she stays asleep I might go away!)
On the weekends she has been taking 2 really good naps. Just like me she loves a good nap- but at daycare- we are so happy if she sleeps an hour. I just hate that she doesn't get a good nap at daycare anymore. (So if you know of a way I can stay home....let me know!)

She is still a pretty picky eater. One thing we can always count on are those Gerber Ravioli meals and green beans. She will lick her plate clean! We have a hard time deciding on dinners for her- but she eats her entire meal at daycare....mmmm.....

Im not sure how much she weighs but we will find out tomorrow at her 15 month check up. Lately her ears have been great (THANK YOU TUBES!) and she has been feeling pretty good!

She love playing outside and loves her wagon. We make many trips around the cul-de-sac!

She absolutely LOVES her daddy! Oh my is she a daddy's girl! & Im pretty sure he feels the same way about her ;) (The love he has for her melts my heart- I don't know how I got so lucky with both of them!)

She says mama and dada all the time and we are working on "up" and she says "hi" most of the time too!! She LOVES having a pretend phone to her ear- she will jabber all day long!

We have been so blessed and we cant even describe how our life has changed in the last 15 months. We just love watching this little girl grow! But I cant believe how big she is. Time sure does fly when you're having fun!!

she loves her feet and her milk! She could sit and try to put her shoes on for a while! Its about the only thing that keeps her occupied!

what we do at bedtime

not only is H obsessed with pulling all her books out at bedtime but she loves pulling out all of her shoes too! its a nightly routine for us to give her a bath, brush her teeth, put on some pj's, let her wind down a little in her room and that usually leads to about 15 minutes of her pulling out all of her shoes. I have no clue why she likes it so much but she does. She's also pretty good helper- I ask her to help me clean it up and she puts (most) of her shoes back :)

she's very serious about her shoes!

She's so happy! Its the little things :)

belly laughs!

I know I say it alot and Im pretty biased but this is the funniest little girl! From a sweet loving cuddler to a wild little sassy pants- we have our hands FULL!!!

Taking pictures of her is no easy task so we sing alot of songs, I shake a lot of things in front of her, and even dance around a little. Thankfully no one is around to see that :)

I asked her where her belly is and here is what I got....

and a few more of my favorites...I could take pictures of her all day- I just LOVE that smile on her face but its hard work! I guess it could be a good work out!

my baby can read!

Hannah has a new obsession with books- I wasn't so sure if she would ever be interested. We've tried reading her books for a long time and she couldnt sit still long enough. Well- she still doesnt really sit still for very long but she goes straight to a book, brings it to one of us, plops in our lap and we get through about 2 pages, maybe and she gets up and gets another one. And we repeat the process. Its pretty cute actually but she never sits still long enough to listen to a full story. I know at daycare they says he LOVES circle time and story time so Im glad she can at least sit still there :)
we start like this....
and end up something like this! she is too funny!
Im pretty sad that these are really the only pictures I got this week and they were on my phone :( But look at that face & those chubby little arms!

I'm so glad its Friday! I finally feel so relaxed that the house is up for sale that I'm ready to just relax and enjoy spending time with my girl!
