water table!

Hannah has a new love- her water table! What a good purchase- she loves this thing. She loves taking measuring cups and filling them up and dumping them out. Funny girl. She's so grown up these days I cant stand it!
We had a nice weekend- not too busy but pretty fun! Thursday night we got an offer on our house. Dont get excited- it was terrible and honestly a waste of my time. Im not sure why anyone bothers looking at your house twice and then offering you $29K less than asking. Oh well! Life goes on. For now we will just hope for the right buyer to come along. I hope everyone has a great week!

Who needs a spoon?

Well actually Hannah is determined to use a spoon. I love her independence & determination but when you are trying to get her fed & rush out the door at 7:15 its a little bit of a challenge. I hate that it has to be like that. I wish every morning we had nothing but time. But we don't. So I bought really big bibs & prepare for a bit of mess when we do give her control of the spoon!
She liked using the spoon for almost the entire container of yogurt- then decided to dig in!

a little bit of everything!

My mom is doing really good. Still pretty groggy from the pain medicine but overall the surgery went as planned. Her leg is all wrapped up for now and Friday she will go in for a hard cast. She is being a good patient and following all our orders :) We had another patient in the house- my dad had been coughing for a few days and was really under the weather...so by Friday night he had spiked a very high fever. My sis took him to urgent care and it turns out he has pneumonia. I was so worried about both of them all night- my sister played nurse most of the weekend!

Fathers day was such a great day. We woke up to our favorite little face & decided to grab some breakfast. It was a pretty rainy morning- which felt like a good morning for a nap! Hannah napped for 2 hours- I wish I could say the same for us. I definitely cannot nap like I used to. I think I am always just waiting for her to wake up. We headed to my parents house for some lunch & fathers day fun...Hannah was on her best behavior so I attempted some more pictures. I think I got some good ones :) (I found these ADORABLE chairs- I love taking her picture in them. She is a little more still in them too!) We also visited my Grammy and Bumpah- they were so excited to see all of us kids. With my mom and dad both being patients themselves we had them stay behind. Hannah of course went straight in for the graham crackers :)

We had 2 house showings this weekend....one of the realtors had some further questions. I think that only gets my hopes up more! Oh well...at least our house is clean :)

Hannah is 17 months tomorrow. WOW! We of course love every minute (even the hard ones!). She keeps us on our toes and is hilarious! She is really starting to talk alot. She has all kinds of words she says. And if she doesnt have a word for it- she says the cutest little high pitched "uh". Almost everything is "uh". And she loves Elmos song. Loves it.

I hope everyone has a great week! I'm sure I'll have a longer post later- for now I have things to do as we get ready for another week.

Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing fathers out there. I'm so lucky to have the MOST amazing fathers in my life. I learned so much about being a parent from my dad and I am so blessed to have a husband who loves being a parent as much as I do. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Ill leave you with a few pictures!

and they let me take pictures of them :)

Grammy's cupboard

Grammy & Bumpah quickly learned Hannah's love of snacks. So my sweet Bumpah wanted to get her some graham crackers to keep at their house. A couple weeks ago we were over there & they showed Hannah right where the snacks are. So now whenever we go over there she goes right to the snack cupboard. She grabs the entire package & takes it to bumpah. He feeds her until we tell her she's done or until the bags empty. It's memories like those that make me smile knowing they are right down the street. I remember growing up in California & going to their house & finding mouse crackers & fruit roll ups they would keep for us!

***my sweet mother is in surgery as we speak- we would be so thankful for all prayers that she recovers very fast & all goes well with her surgery! Thank you!

date weekend!

we had such a nice weekend. I dont mean to write like its over- but it almost is. I find myself dreading Sunday nights because I know that we have to get back into our routine and then start the week all over again. Mondays are hard- and seem to last forever. Anyways- we did have a great weekend. Friday I went to visit one of my old college roommates in Lexington who just had a baby- she has Mya who is 20 months and Clara who is 3 weeks old. I LOVED holding a brand new baby again. And she was tiny. Like 7 pounds or something. A weight I never saw with Hannah :) She was precious. Hannah and Mya had fun playing and sharing lots of snacks. Saturday my mom wanted to keep Hannah all night so she could get her fill in before her foot surgery this week. So Jeremy worked Saturday morning, then when he got home we decided to have a lunch out as a family and make a pit stop at target for diapers- we were down to like 2! But in the middle of lunch our realtor called and said we had a showing request in like 2 hours! So needless to say we RUSHED through lunch and headed home to clean. I was excited about a showing but to be honest I dont ever expect anything to come out of them and really its just a way to get the house clean I suppose. We took Hannah to my parents house and then headed out for date night. It was SOOOO nice. It was a just what we needed. It was nice to sit through a quiet dinner and actually get to talk. We decided to go see the Hangover II- we had both been wanting to see it for a while. The first one was hilarious and this one did not disappoint. I know the story line was the exact same but I seriously laughed so hard the entire movie. I havent laughed that hard in a long time. We had a great time. We got to sleep in & go grocery shopping before we picked Hannah up. Grocery shopping with Hannah can be a challenge sometimes- she is in the "uh" "uh" "uh" phase right now. She points to everything and says "uh" like she wants it.
We went and picked her up- which I missed her like crazy- and to our surprise Alex came home for the day. I loved seeing him of course. We ended the weekend with some play time in the front yard and a few trips around the cul de sac in the wagon. I love nothing more than being all together with my sweet little family. Jeremy and Hannah complete me- they really do.

waiting on her daddy to come in...she is a daddys girl!

weekDAY FUN!

we usually don't have much going on during the week- with a baby that goes to bed so early there isn't much we can do. Tonight was different and fun because we had some friends over and let the kids run wild! I think Hannah loved having kids over. I always wonder what she would be like with a sibling but now I know- she would be very entertained with an older sibling. So we just need to find a brother or sister for her that is about 4 years old!! :) Once again Hannah refused the pool- the water was freezing and it was hot so we just enjoyed each others company and pizza! The kids loved it too!
Poor Palmer was worried we would only have girl toys :)
I took some pics of all the kids- the bigger kids wouldn't sit still but I got some adorable pics of Belle- she is just so cute and smiles on cue! She doesn't move either!

Ann Mason and Palmer- so SWEET!!

of course my child has food all over her face :) I think she ate the entire time!

more pictures!

I swear we do more than just take pictures of her but I am trying really hard to learn a lot more about my camera and the only way to do that is to practice! Right now Hannah is my main subject so all my pictures are of her :) Can you imagine how much I will photograph our next child! One that doesnt move!!

Hannah is much more interested in rocks than me so I have a tough time getting good pictures of a moving subject- but here she is!

how cute are these sandals?? These were my $4.99 Zulily find! They are a little tight so they wont be good walking shoes but they sure are CUTE!

and she's DONE! :)

weekend!

we have had a really nice weekend- uneventful which is the way I like it! I love having nothing on our agenda and just getting to pick up and do whatever we want or need to do. We had friends over Saturday to cook out and put the girls in the pool- however our child is deathly afraid of the little inflatable blow up pools. She looked so darn cute in her new swimsuit- no way I could get a picture of her as she was clinging to me in fear that we would put her in the water. She wouldnt even get in with Emma. But they looked adorable! We did put Emma and Hannah in our little ottoman thing that we now use as toy storage and they had a big time in there. It kept them still and busy! They were too funny together! Sharing toys, food and paci's :)

reading books together!

They both had wild pool hair!

Sunday we were able to see my sister for a minute before she headed back to Lexington. We always love seeing her!
I really dont have too much else to report. We had a house showing this week- hoping that picks up a little bit! But I'll leave ya with some pictures of the girl that I cant get enough of!!

she loves buckles! in a grocery cart, high chair or a wagon, she whines until you give her the buckles to snap and unsnap! funny girl!

Great Family Filled Weekend!

We had such a great FAMILY filled weekend! It was alot of fun and much needed! This weekend my sister-in-law got married and Jeremy and I were both in the wedding. We were honored to be apart of their big day! It went off without a hitch! We had a blast laughing and hanging out with Jeremys family all weekend. We headed back Sunday and CRASHED when we got home. H was a trooper and was awake during the entire reception! I couldn't believe it! She danced around a little bit but mostly enjoyed chasing the lights from the DJ on the floor. HA!

I love this picture of them! Its so sweet!

Monday we headed to my parents house for a cookout with all 13 of us! I LOVE LOVE being with all of my family. We are just getting bigger and I love every minute with them. Even ALEX made a visit home! I know he likes coming home but you would think we never get to see him. I seriously could hug that kid for like 10 minutes! He is so sweet and just so funny. We just laughed and ate and laughed and ate. We attempted to get Hannah in a little inflatable pool so we were all out there with cameras waiting for her to just love it but we stuck her feet in and it was SOOO cold that she hated it. So we put the pool in the sun and let it warm up but the poor girl was scared! She wouldnt go near the pool in fear that it was still freezing. I guess we will have to try again!

Im hoping we will make a lot of visits to my parents pool this summer- I think Hannah will love it! I am very excited to begin June. It is a calm month- hopefully filled with lots of house showings...I found another house I love. I dont know why I keep doing that to myself! But I plan on staying home alot and just letting Hannah play in the pool and in her wagon.

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend and remember the reason for such a beautiful holiday weekend!

this is how she felt after she felt how cold the water was!
eyeing the pool!
no way she was getting near that thing again! even her boyfriend matt tried!
my beautiful sis!

Hannah had many faces that day- this was just one of them! I have this new editing software and I love playing around with it. I just thought this looked so cute! she is sassy!

Hannah last Memorial Day- I cant believe how big she is now!
