Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful, eventful Easter weekend! We had several things planned and just enjoyed the beautiful weather and company :)
Friday we went to our church for a big Easter egg hunt & grabbed some frozen yogurt afterwards. We are always so beat on Fridays so we just came home and relaxed!

Saturday morning we went to a locals farmers market and they had a ton of booths and vendors and games for kids. It was a wonderful event and we loved that it was so kid friendly! Owen was literally a WILD man. He was everywhere!

We didnt stay too long because we had to get to the BBQ Festival at a park in walking distance from our house. It was alot of fun! The sun was out, the kids were running around with some of our neighbors and we just enjoyed the afternoon!

That night we dyed Easter eggs and made our first bunny cake! Does not compare to my Grammys cake she used to make but was fun for us!

Sunday morning the kids came down to Easter baskets and we had bunny shaped pancakes before church. Church was quite eventful as Owen started screaming as we pulled into the parking lot. He has MAJOR separation anxiety. I am not even sure how Im going to get him used to leaving me. He cries when I just head toward a door!

Owen was mostly interested in beef jerky at 6:45 in the morning!

This is basically how church went. Owen did not want to be held and we didnt take him into the nursery to spare the volunteers from a screaming child. But we didnt get to finish the service since he wouldnt sit at all!
We found the CUTEST super hero capes for boys and girls at the festival yesterday, so cute!
The Easter bunny came while the kids and I were out front :) I told Hannah the Easter bunny came and dropped eggs off and we didnt even see him and she said, no the eggs fell from the sky! It didnt even see it raining eggs! Funny kid. Hard to hide eggs in the desert but they had alot of fun! It was a fun weekend and I really enjoy making new memories and watching Hannah have more fun with ever holiday!

Happy Easter! So thankful for this beautiful day and all it means to us!
