Vacation part 2!

We finished up our week with a few more fun things! Not in order, cause I dont have time for all that :)
Hannah had a pony ride at the Equestrian center on the Island. Reminded me of KY it was so pretty!
We also took a short drive to see the Angel Oak. One of the biggest & oldest trees left standing. It was really pretty to see in person.
 I mean, how ADORABLE!!

Hard to believe you are just miles from the beach!

Ready to ride Blossom! Owen had to have a helmet too :)
Sunday the weather turned on us and it was alot colder and a little rainy. We stopped up at Fresh Fields for a Food Truck Rodeo they were having and enjoyed some delicious food, made on trucks, ha ha
Dinner at the Marina on Saturday night. Great view!
This girl is something else. She literally keeps me laughing all day long, her stories remind me of her Aunt Lindsay :)

Nothing says vacation like ice cream!

One of the main reasons we went to Seabrook Island is because my parents are building a beach house there! This will be SO exciting for our family! We've always taken beach vacations in the Carolinas and since the cold KY weather can be so hard on my dads health he needs somewhere warm to retire. After our trip to Edisto, SC last summer my parents stayed a few extra days and just happened to find Seabrook and in a matter of days, fell in love and found a lot to buy! They will be breaking ground shortly and they have promised them it will be ready by Thanksgiving. So we are hoping for Christmas at the beach! The houses on the beach are amazing and this is definitely a dream! The island couldnt be more perfect with the golf courses, beach club, wild life, horseback riding, just everything you can do will be great for our family and many trips to the beach!
We got to see a house that will look similar to theirs, we also walked through it while it was still in the process of the being built and it was just stunning! I cannot wait to see theirs once its done!
Similar to what the front of theirs will look like. Different colors and a few other different things but along the same lines.

Best view we could get of the back. The room with the circle window is called the "Retreat" a room filled with windows and 12 foot ceilings- a beautiful place to relax! Im very happy for them and cannot wait to spend more time there...now if we could just find Jeremy a course in South Carolina SOON!
