pretty much paradise

We are winding up our vacation here on Seabrook Island...this place is amazing. I dont even know how to describe it. You just have to see it! We flew in on Tuesday. I was nervous because these flights are the longest we've done and if we dont get lucky and get that extra seat for Owen then the 3 of us and bags and blankets and computers and ipads are all squished into 2 seats. Unfortunately the long flight into Nashville, 3 hours, was full and we didnt get that extra seat. It was tight and long and the first hour and a half the kids were so happy they didnt want to leave eachother alone. It was great they were laughing and not crying but they couldnt stop picking at eachother. And at one point Hannahs bunny pillow landed in the lap of the man behind me...sorry! Regardless we made it to Charleston, got our bags and headed to downtown charleston for dinner on the water. It was WONDERFUL. Charleston is the most amazing city! We headed to the beach house to get some much needed rest!
 View from the restaurant
Owen finally fell asleep halfway into the flight and slept until we landed in Nashville, thankfully!
They loved the fountains in Charleston
Happy with his beef jerky on the plane...one of the only snacks Ive found to keep him happy!
Drive into the Island....SO beautiful it looks like KY.
Crashed on the flight from Nashville..that was good for everyone ha ha
Getting his energy out on the dock
Love the downtown Charleston market
The kids loved the beach and the pool, we had 5 beautiful days!

Its tough when you have to carry everything yourself :)

Owen got ahold of the big shovel and started chasing his sister with it. Classic Owen.

The LIFE!
 Beach babies sleep the best!
How is she this grown up?!

My dad teaching her card games. I loved watching them. Reminds me of years growing up playing cards with him :)

Lots of ice cream at the beach club!
 They are so irresistible together!
They saw a jellyfish on the beach and she was telling me all about its stinger

Lots of gators on the island, we found this one on the golf course behind our house
Fresh Fields was an amazing outdoor shopping center
 A true man on vacation!
LOVED this relaxing trip with my family
We went to this store several times and Hannah made friends with all the stuffed dogs. Named them and informed all the other shoppers that they were fake :)

 Love everything about this picture!
Fresh Fields, shopping, adorable stores, ice cream, grocery store. We made alot of trips there!
Our little beach cottage for the week. Worked perfectly for the 7 of us.

Absolutely GORGEOUS homes on the island. I was shocked how it didnt feel like a beach town until we got closer to the beach. The island itself is filled with the most gorgeous architecture. Im in love and would move here in a second! We hope thats the plan next!
 I mean, BEAUTIFUL!

Every street on the island looks like this. Huge oaks, spanish moss, filled with deer, just heaven.
This is the Island House, where golf starts, a restaurant, reception rooms, etc. The Beach Club was where we went every day. It has pools, a little shop, restaurant, and beautiful ocean views!

I have so many more pictures...Im going to have to do part two! We finished the week off with horseback riding, checking out the Angel Oak and enjoying all of the island!
