December....part 2!

We made it to the beach, a 10 hour drive through the night and the kids did really good. We had a few rough moments but overall, I was so proud of them! Gives me hope for more long drives in the future!
We got there on the 22nd and had a few days to recover from all the strep before Christmas! We did enjoy so many warm days on the beach. The water was freezing but 70 degrees and the kids were in heaven in bathing suits!

First trip down to the beach!
The dolphins were awesome to watch, they were super close!

You know he couldnt wait to do this!
Christmas eve was filled with games, food, and fun! I dont think we stopped playing games for 4 days!

We even got Granmommy and Gramps to join in the Pie Face fun!

 So sweet!
 Christmas eve box~

 New Christmas jams!

 Making reindeer food!

Santa got brownies because with strep and everything else, cookies just didnt make the cut!
The kids loved Christmas morning and had a blast. But of course in the middle of the night Owen woke up screaming for over an hour about his ear. We assumed ear infection but it came on so suddenly and he had never done that before, I was convinced a tick crawled in his ear and was burrowing in there ha ha. I just figured us being on an island, no doctors, etc it would be our luck! We finally got him calmed down but he wasnt himself on Christmas day so I think he had an ear infection for sure. Poor guy.

Owen asks me almost everyday if we're going back to the beachouse and if we have more Christmas presents ha ha

Poor guy slept through most of Christmas evening.
 My boys!

My other boys! Owen looks so blonde here! We got his haircut right before Disneyland and all his blonde is gone. I almost cried!

And this is how this girl does the beach in December!

Took the kids up to Fresh Fields one evening to get some energy out and this is just par for the course with these two!
There is so much love there!
They started playing hide and go seek with a couple other kids, Owen would hide then go, "Here I am!"

She is a crazy, beautiful mess!

I mean, this face. I honestly cannot get enough of this kid.

Tuesday morning before Jeremy flew home we took the kids to ride the pony at the stable. Owen was on board at first, then he decided against it. But just other day, a month and a half later he is literally CRYING that he didnt get to ride Tucker. How can he remember that but NEVER remember where his shoes are?!

Hannah loves horses, we really want to find a program for her here.

Owen and I just walked around and looked at all the big horses

It just so happened that the family of one of my moms students has a house in Seabrook too. So Adam, came to play a couple times. Hannah was in heaven to have a friend! (this picture is just too gorgeous!)
It was colder in Vegas, we did not want to go back!

The beach is our happy place!

Owen enjoyed puzzle time with Adam, it was pretty funny to listen to Adam talking to him, most of the time he wasnt understanding Owen ha ha
 Our favorite beach pose!

We had a great time. It is ALWAYS hard to leave. We were able to stay until New Years day and left SUPER early in the morning. The kids did great on the flights, They were LONG but they are troopers. I am thankful they are at least good on the airplane!

Charleston airport is like a second home to us, and we're good with that! Overall we had an amazing time. We pushed through the sickness and the craziness but we were able to enjoy great quality time with everyone. I love the crazy!
