8 months.

Owen- you sweet little 8 month old. You bring so much joy to us its hard to think of our lives without you. Your smile literally lights up a room and people say you look just like your daddy. You are the sweetest, cuddliest little boy I know. You still dont sleep through the night but who needs sleep, right?!
He has changed drastically in the 2 weeks Jeremy has been gone. I hate that, but I guess turning 8 months old he realized he wanted to MOVE! He will not sit still anymore. He scoots and turns around and leans on all fours to crawl and gets so irritated if someone is holding him still. He wants to be in on all the action! He is babbling so much and is even saying da da. He is really doing great at repeating us when we talk to him. He responds so well! He has such a sweet heart and LOVES his sister. Smiles SO big when we walk in to the nursery at school. She makes him laugh like crazy. Its so endearing to watch.

Once he starts moving- I'm in trouble!

At 8 months old he is
Wearing 9-12 month clothes
Size 3 diapers- but I think my next purchase will be size 4's
Weighed 20 pds 8 oz at 8 months
Eats about 4-5 oz every 2-3 hours. He cannot take a big bottle at one time. He never really has been able to. Some of the younger babies in his nursery class take 6-8 oz and he just cant do it. Hence the reason he STILL wakes 2-3 times in the middle of the night to nurse. Yes, Im exhausted.
Eating more baby food during the day but HATES green beans and bananas.
Introduced a sippy cup to him this week- more or less for something for him to chew on!
Goes to sleep between 8-8:30 each night.
Almost crawling and pulling up on anything he can find!! He is a squirmer.
Still no teeth and very little hair :)

Our hearts melt every time we get to hold, love or cuddle this little guy. We are so thankful for the past 8 months! Owen, we love you more than you'll ever know!

On a side note- because I have been MIA lately. (Im lucky if I get to go to the bathroom by myself!) and I havent watched anything on TV in the last two weeks. Literally- I havent watched anything! (Im having withdrawls!) but we SOLD our house. In 5 days we had a contract on the house.
Praying all goes smoothly and we can close in February. One BIG thing to check off the list. Still doesnt mean we will pick up and move right away- we are still thinking April or so. Just means a couple months without a mortgage- YAY!!!

Oh & Miss Sassafrass- she will be THREE this weekend! Three going on thirteen!!
