In the past week we have said too many goodbyes. Goodbye to family, friends and 2012. This past year was hands down one of the best years of our lives. We started 2012 by purchasing a home we could only dream about. Hannah turned two and our son was born. We made big, tough decisions- and now 2013 will take us on a new adventure. Im thankful for the most supportive family, our health and the opportunity Jeremy has been given. Its bittersweet because he deserves this and Im very thankful that this move is for a good reason and not a bad one, but it doesnt make it any easier. We have the best daddy and husband I could ever imagine so we support him in this new, crazy adventure. This past week was a whirlwind. There was Christmas shopping, Christmas in Owensboro, Christmas day, a million projects, packing, moving and saying goodbye. Lots of laughs, smiles and tears.
Jeremy made an 8 state drive, 28 hours in 2 days. He made it safely and has sort of unpacked his new bachelor pad :) He starts the new gig tomorrow and I think he is ready to have something fill his days. You dont realize how much you miss the craziness of a wife and two kids until you're gone. We miss him terribly. But it has to be done and once he gets in the swing of things he will be working hard and getting full nights of sleep! Too many emotions to write a long post right now. Im all over the place really. The house goes on the market this weekend and Im so sad to say goodbye to that too. But with Goodbye comes a new hello. We will make the best of it and should probably buy stock in Southwest :)
