we took a road trip to California for almost a week and we all survived the drive! Four hour drive with two kids...I was pretty sure we'd be stopping alot but we made it both ways only stopping once each way. I was so proud of them! Timing is everything and as long as one of them sleeps I can get through it :)
Jeremy has been working so much that he needed a break and we needed some familiar company. So we headed to CA for a great little trip. We did some fun things, ate some great food, and enjoyed great company. Im pretty sure we wore everyone out...including Megan's 2 year old golden retriever :) Hannah literally goes NON- STOP from morning til night so it was great to have some help to entertain her. We had a great time and plan to go back when my mom comes back with us in October. This time, we'll be taking Hannah to Disneyland!
We went to the Long Beach Aquarium and we all had a good time. After the aquarium we grabbed some lunch in downtown Long Beach and saw Darrell from "The Office". We were so close to asking for a picture but didnt. He was our first "celebrity" sighting! These pics are out of order once again!
Poor Bella- this is their 7 year old golden retriever who was so patient with the kids!
When all else fails and you dont have toys, head to the kitchen!
She might be ready to see the characters at Disneyland- she wasnt scared this time!
As soon as we got back Maddie came over to play- finger painting gone bad!
Kelly is so great with the kids....we may have really worn her out this time!!
