I've been waiting and waiting for these teeth to come through, since I was convinced that Hannahs personality change was attributed to teething but still NO teeth! I am not convinced it was the beginning of an ear infection because of the amount of drool. But Ive been fooled before. So we are just waiting for teeth- but in the meantime we are ALL sleeping much better. Even though last week was so hard I think it was almost a blessing in disguise because she isn’t so dependent on her paci in the middle of the night now. All last week she wouldn’t take a paci because it hurt her mouth or ears. So now she is sleeping great in the middle of the night and not waking up- thankfully!! If she does cry out she can usually put herself back to sleep. It only took 7 months….
Speaking of 7 months….we have a 7 month old!! WOW! This precious little girl was 7 months on Friday. I cant even believe it. This has truly been the best 7 months of my life and each and every day gets more fun. She is getting SOOO big! I realize that every time I peek in her crib and she is sleeping on her tummy. Its just something about her being able to roll over and choose to sleep on her tummy that makes her seem so much more grown up! She always wakes up so happy and plays and talks for about 10-15 minutes in the morning while I finish getting ready. Its adorable- sometimes she even puts herself back to sleep!
She is on the move and ready to crawl any day! She gets on all fours and rocks but cant quite figure out what to do next. She’s almost there though- once she starts we will have our hands full!! She is eating very well (obviously!) She eats cereal & sometimes a fruit for breakfast and fruit for lunch and veggies for dinner! She LOVES her fruits and veggies! She is already pulling up on so many things- including my legs! I have a feeling we have lots of bumps and bruises in our future! Saturday night we laid her down and she was talking a little then it got real quiet so I went to check on her and she was just sitting up in bed playing with her bunny and the bumpers. It was TOO cute! But she was ready to reach for the side of the crib so at 10:00 at night we lowered the crib- again!!! I think we are as low as we can go. She should be safe in her little prison cell!
This weekend was nice- short but nice! Saturday afternoon Jeremys sister and the kids were coming in town to go to the fair and we met them for lunch on the river. Then we went to a nearby park and played for a little bit. We all had fun and it was so good to see Jacey. I cant even believe she is already in first grade. I remember seeing her when she was 4 hours old! She is still beautiful as ever! She loves Hannah too but I don’t think she realized Hannah doesn’t do too much and would rather rip up paper than color on it!
