We have had a pretty productive weekend this weekend- it felt so good to get alot crossed off the list. It was a very expensive weekend but a productive one! Friday we ordered our carpet and stopped by the house to check out the paint. It looks SO great! I am so happy with the color and how it turned out. And even happier that we didnt have to paint. I am not a good painter. It always sounds like a good idea but then I start and do not want to finish. Id much rather be cleaning and organizing!
kitchen ready for paint...the island has been pulled out. We will be painting the island and cabinets.
this is the entry way, those doors lead to the kitchen- I love it!

Friday night we were able to just relax and finally have a night at home. It felt so nice! We've been running so much lately and so busy we are ready to get back into a routine. Although quickly, little man will be here and we will be routine-less!
Saturday morning Jeremy met yet another flooring guy for a quote. We might end up doing the hard wood ourselves but we wanted to get one final quote. My mom and dad very graciously watched Hannah Saturday morning so we could get some things done. Taking Hannah in public is a challenge to say the least and she has been a handful lately! I know she is ready for routine too...I hope! :) We went and picked out our appliances which was fun- however I sure wish they came with a cook! After that we went and looked at some couches that we liked and a new mattress. We think we found our mattress but we are waiting on the couch. Its hard to get a good idea of how something will look in the family room. That afternoon we met a lady who was interested in the chandelier that was in the dining room. It wasnt our taste so we put it on Craigslist- which is my favorite website to sell anything on. Ive always had good luck. We sold it right there! I was glad to have that extra money to go buy the new lighting. Today Jeremy worked on the floors to get them ready for the wood and carpet and my mom peeled wallpaper and worked on the vanities. Im not sure how a family could have been so rough on vanities but I think we will have to re-paint all of them. We have time! The carpet is going to take the longest so we have some time to fit it all in!
Everything is coming together slowly but surely. Its a fun process but we are ready to be in! This little girl has been a spitfire this weekend. Like Ive said before- she is one strong-willed, independent little lady!!
Lately she has been very interested in pants that have pockets- so when her pants dont have pockets...she makes her own. This cracked us up! I have a feeling we are going to find the most random things in her pockets!
